What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Information that you share with Considered Spaces enables us to provide a service to you and we collect this information by telephone, electronic and written correspondence or via the website. We may ask you for information including your name, private/business address, contact telephone numbers and email address. We may also ask you for other information that relates to the service you are using or ordering.
We also require clients’ information such as full name, address, email and telephone number so that we can keep in touch. We may send fabric samples to clients, call them if they require phone support and generally keep in touch in order to fulfil the design service. In light of this, information is collected from our clients for this reason. Please note we would never pass on a client’s personal data / information to another company without consent first. For example, we will not pass on your email address to tradesmen or a supplier without asking you for permission first. The only other occasion where this information may be passed on is if we are required to do so by law, for example under a court order, or in response to properly made demands, under powers contained in the Data Protection legislation.
If you purchase a design service, we will record your personal data such as name, address, phone number and email address. This is so that we can contact you to discuss your design needs, send fabric samples etc. In the same way, if you sign up to request for us to get in touch, by willingly entering your email to do so, you are giving us consent to contact you via this address and store your email address for up to a year, so that we can contact you.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
